One of the points, mentioned in The Code of Practice, you need to know when you are being recruited for a health care job is about the complete information for the position, this includes:
- Job description
- Person specification
- Grading structure
- Salary
- Location
Another important point stated in the Code of Practice is that the recruiter will not charge you any fee for finding you the job.

The requirements for working in the UK are:

- Jobs which meets the appropriate skill level.
- Evidence of knowledge of the English language.
- One or more of the other tradable characteristics to reach the 70 points.
- Demonstrate ability to travel and travel history over the preceding five years.
- Valid tuberculosis test results (if from a listed country)
- A criminal record certificate from any country where the migrant has lived for 12 months or more in the last ten years, if working with vulnerable people.
